Almost $12M raised toward $20M goal

UPPER SANDUSKY – United Church Homes leadership from throughout Ohio gathered at Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky on Nov. 17 to kick off the public phase of a historic effort to raise $20 million over the next five years.
United Church Homes is the parent organization of Chapel Hill Community in Canal Fulton, Ohio, Fairhaven Community, Four Winds Community in Jackson, Ohio, Glenwood Community and Harmar Place, both in Marietta, Ohio, Parkvue Community in Sandusky, Ohio, Patriot Ridge Community in Fairborn, Ohio, Pilgrim Manor in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Trinity Community in Beavercreek, Ohio, which will benefit from the fundraising campaign.
United Church Homes’ Comprehensive Campaign for Abundant Life will include focus areas to support affording housing, benevolent care, pastoral care and the new Ruth Frost Parker Center for Abundant Aging. Funding will serve all 72 of United Church Homes’ service areas in 14 states and two Native American nations.
Already approximately $12 million in gifts and pledges have been raised toward the $20 million goal.

United Church Homes President and CEO Rev. Kenneth V. Daniel introduced the focus areas of the campaign, and Director of Hospitality Amy Kotterman explained how the campaign will connect with UCH’s culture change initiative, which aims to combat ageism and enhance the living experiences for all those served by United Church Homes.
