Once word got out that Kristopher Davidson was a wanted fugitive, it didn’t take long for him to be apprehended by police or to appear in Crawford County Common Pleas Court.
The twenty-nine-year-old Bucyrus man popped up on the fugitive radar earlier this week. He was wanted by the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office for trafficking in heroin, had a warrant out of Crawford County for failure to appear, and had ties to Mansfield.
Davidson was captured by U.S. Marshals Tuesday and transported to the Crawford County Justice Center. He appeared in Common Pleas Court Wednesday afternoon.
In June of 2012 Davidson had pleaded guilty to trafficking in drugs, having weapons under disability, and receiving stolen property. He had been sentenced to prison for a total of 48 months but was granted judicial release on March 18, 2013.
Adult Parole Officer Ken Dyer reported that Davidson had admitted to using drugs on Jan. 29, tested positive for opiates, oxycodone, and marijuana on April 29, and failed to report to his supervising officer in November and January.
Judge Russell Wiseman appointed John Andrew Motter to represent Davidson and set bond at $100,000.
