BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Crawford County Council on Aging is encouraging seniors to sign up for a free Thanksgiving meal. This offer is available to Crawford County residents aged 60 and older. Seniors can reserve a ticket for the traditional Thanksgiving meal, catered by Carle’s Bratwurst, by calling the Council on Aging.

Meal pickup is scheduled for Nov. 21 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Council on Aging, located at 200 S. Spring St. The event is made possible through partnerships with the John Q. Shunk Association and J&F Construction.

“This effort would not be possible without our wonderful community partners,” said Courtney Moody, activities coordinator. “We are so thankful for the John Q. Shunk Association, J&F Construction, and the Bucyrus Lions Club for contributing funds to ensure seniors receive a hot, holiday meal this Thanksgiving season.”

To reserve a meal, seniors should call the Council on Aging at 419-562-3050, option 1, and speak with Heather in the transportation department.
