GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW) – On August 1, 1966, The Late Homer & Jeannette Fox opened the doors to Fox Plumbing & Heating at 635 North Union Street in Galion. Operations were conducted out of their home until September 1973, when the business expanded and needed a larger facility. We purchased the property on Boston Street. By September 1976, an adjoining property was purchased to build an additional structure for storing equipment and a subsequent sheet metal shop. In late November 1984, the present location at 126 North Washington St. was purchased. From a one-man operation in 1966, a business grew.
Fox Plumbing & Heating’s areas of expertise include residential, commercial, and industrial marketplaces. We specialize in hot water and steam heat, forced air systems, plumbing work, air conditioning, well pumps and water softeners, and custom sheet metal work. We are licensed and bonded contractors and are certified. We are also certified to install, check, and repair backflow devices. We have a full line of repair parts for many makes and models of equipment as well as a stocked showroom. We provide water testing for swimming pools and spas as well as chemicals and repair parts for both.
