A two-vehicle accident Sunday evening resulted in four people, including three young girls, being taken to Galion Community Hospital for treatment. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office report described their injuries as minor.
That report indicates William Parker of Galion was driving an SUV south on State Route 598 over U.S. 30 with his daughters ages 10, 8 and 6 as passengers. At the same time Nichole Cooley of Galion exited U.S. 30 onto 598 and attempted to re-enter U.S. 30 again.
The vehicle driven by Parker struck Cooley’s vehicle. Alcohol is not suspected. Cooley was issued a citation for failing to yield at an intersection.
