BUCYRUS—Former Buckeye Central School Bus Driver and Custodian, Chet Cobb, 44, of Galion, pleaded guilty to three charges of pandering sexually oriented material involving a child. The charges, each a fourth-degree felony, were filed against Cobb in May and carried a maximum penalty of up to 18 months in prison.

On Monday morning, Cobb appeared before Judge Sean Leuthold in the Crawford County Common Pleas Court for sentencing. Judge Leuthold did not show leniency, imposing the maximum prison sentence allowed by law on Cobb. The former school employee will spend the next 54 months behind bars. Additionally, Cobb is required to register as a tier 2 sex offender upon his release.
