BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Former Bucyrus Councilwoman Carolyn Shireman was arraigned in Crawford County Common Pleas Court on two new felony charges Tuesday.
Shireman was indicted by a recent Crawford County Grand Jury.

Shireman faces one new count of telecommunications fraud, classified as a third-degree felony, which carries a potential sentence of up to 36 months in prison. Additionally, she is charged with a new charge of theft, a fourth-degree felony punishable by up to 18 months in prison .

These charges stem from the activities related to Shireman’s charity, The Positive Seekers. Visiting Judge Howard Hall from Morrow County is presiding over all cases involving Shireman. During the arraignment, Hall continued Shireman’s bond at $25,000.
