BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW) — A traffic stop in Bucyrus on Saturday evening led to the arrests of a Forest man and an Arlington woman on drug-related charges, authorities said.

Officers conducted the stop at approximately 7:10 p.m. on March 22, 2025, in the area of South Walnut Street and East Charles Street. The driver, identified as Derek Kleman, 23, of Forest, Ohio, was found to be driving with a suspended license, according to the Bucyrus Police Department.

K9 Capone was deployed to conduct a sniff of the vehicle, and the dog indicated the presence of a narcotic odor. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded drug paraphernalia.

The passenger, Rashae Lauck, 22, of Arlington, Ohio, was found to be in possession of approximately 10 grams of suspected crack cocaine and 27 Oxycodone pills, police said.
Both Kleman and Lauck were taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held pending court appearances.
The following charges have been referred to the Crawford County Prosecutor for review: possession of schedule I or II drugs, tampering with evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, and obstructing official business.
