The City of Bucyrus has lowered all of its flags in honor of the late Jeff Campbell who once served the community as service/safety director. Flags were lowered to half-staff on Tuesday and will remain there through Thursday.
Campbell died on Saturday as a result of cancer. He was 61 years old. Campbell was the city’s service/safety director from 2000 to 2004. Campbell was also a local businessman as co-owner of Bucyrus True Value Hardware. He is survived by his wife Rose, their children and grandson.
Calling hours are today at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home and the funeral is Thursday morning, also at Munz-Pirnstill.
