Saturday was a busy day for firefighters in Crawford County. Two home fires broke out on opposite ends of the county, although few details are available at this time.

The Crawford County Chapter of the American Red Cross has reported it provided aid to two families affected by those fires. The first fire was Saturday morning in Galion according to the Red Cross who reported there were two people living in the home.

The second fire was Saturday evening on Andrews Road. The Bucyrus Fire Department indicated it assisted the Holmes Township Fire Department who was the lead agency on that fire. According to the Red Cross two adults and one child were living at that home.

More details about the fires will be posted at this site when they become available.
