MOUNT GILEAD—Mount Gilead High School, was still without a flag pole for their football game on Sept. 8.

“We were asked again to help fix the situation and with the anniversary of 9/11 this weekend we were honored to fly the flag to honor those that sacrificed so much that day,” said village Fire Chief Chad Swank.

The department brought in a temporary flag to use. The school’s permanent flag pole is on back order and had not arrived in time.
