FINDLAY, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—At 9:48 Monday morning a woman arrived at Millstream Career Center, 1100 Broad Ave. The woman was in distress and security contacted the Findlay Police Department. Officers arrived and spoke to the woman. She described being bound and held against her will in a trailer near the school. Officers located the trailer at rear of 718 College St.
The male suspect arrived on scene as Officers were checking the trailer. The male was taken into custody without incident. The woman was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The male was Incarcerated at the Hancock County Justice Center on charges of kidnapping.
Suspect- Dewayne Vanatta, 60 years old of Findlay, OH.
