Farmers market season in Crawford County officially kicks off this weekend.

The Bucyrus Farmers Market starts off the season this Saturday at 1695 East Mansfield St., across from AutoZone. The farmers market will be open from 8:30 a.m. until noon and it will feature in-season produce and fruit, flowers, plants, organic meats, baked goods, crafts, and maple syrup.

The Bucyrus Farmers Market will occur every Saturday until Oct. 24.

Crestline and Galion will follow up with their farmers market on Tuesday.

The Crestline Farmers Market will take place from 3 – 6 p.m. at 202 North Thoman St. It will run until Oct. 27. Vendors that have committed to the Crestline Farmers Market include:

The NorthSide Farmers Market will be from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. near Frank’s Shelter at Heise Park. It will continue every Tuesday through the fall. Vendors that have committed to the NorthSide Farmers Market include:

The last Tuesday of each month will also feature local artists and craftsmen.

The market announced that many vendors will be able to accept Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). SNAP recipients should bring their Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards to the market where they will receive tokens that can be used to purchase vegetables, fruit, honey, preserves, and other products.
