The annual Crawford County Fair Demolition Derby was a smash on its new night. This year the Demo Derby was moved to Sunday to kick-off the grandstand entertainment for the week.
The event attracted a total of 29 entries. Heat winners were Brandon Debo, Jason Knecht, Chris Zucker, and Buck Platt. Shaun Knecht took third in the truck heat as he and his wife Ashley celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
“The Derby this year is very fun,” Ashley said. “I just want my husband to win money on our anniversary.”
That was a possibility as Shaun claimed third in last year’s derby.
