Press release

The Crawford County Veterans Service Commission, 112 East Mansfield Street, Suite 95, Bucyrus, Ohio 44820, would like to announce the expansion of the transportation program that brings veterans from Crawford County to their medical appointments at the Cleveland VA Medical Center.

For many years the Crawford County Veterans Service Commission has exclusively provided transportation to the Cleveland VA Medical Center on Monday of each week.  The veterans of Crawford County expressed the need for another day being offered to be more inclusive of departments of the Cleveland VA Medical Center that are not open and operating on Mondays.  In response to this need, the Crawford County Veterans Service Commission solicited input via survey and found that most veterans of the county would be best served by offering transportation to the Cleveland VA Medical Center on both Monday and Tuesday of each week.

Acting in the best-expressed interest of most veterans in the county, effective January 9, 2017, the Crawford County Veterans Service Commission will be operating transportation from Bucyrus, Galion, and Crestline to the Cleveland VA Medical Center on both Monday and Tuesday of each week.  As in the past, seats on the transportation van are booked via reservation by calling the Crawford County Veterans Service Office at 419-562-7761.
