Three people were taken into custody after a search warrant revealed evidence of drug trafficking.
Detectives from the Bucyrus Police Department, assisted by the METRICH Task Force, Galion Police Department, and Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, served a search warrant at 117 West Liberty St., Bucyrus, at 4:30 Tuesday afternoon. Detectives found evidence of drug trafficking and recovered a large amount of prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia. The investigation is ongoing.
“Great work by detectives from all the agencies and thank you to Sheriff Kent, Chief Saterfield, and your agencies for assisting us,” Bucyrus Police Chief Dave Koepke wrote on the police department’s Facebook page.
Charges to be filed by the county prosecutor’s office are pending against the three people arrested. Their names are currently being withheld until that time.
