-
- Ohio soybean farmers will be stationed on the Midway today ONLY giving fairgoers the opportunity to talk with them about modern farming and agriculture. Games, prizes, and FREE samples of delicious soy snacks will be available.
- Live Mural Painting – Starting today, famed barn artist Scott Hagan (the same artist who painted the bicentennial barns across Ohio) will be painting a mural in the Cox Fine Arts Center during the Fair thanks to a partnership with the Ohio History Connection. The murals will feature portraits of Ohioans General Charles Young and President Ulysses S. Grant. Painting will occur from approximately 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily, Friday, July 29 through Tuesday, August 2. As important historical figures on a national level, Grant and Young have milestone anniversaries in 2022: Grant was born 200 years ago in Point Pleasant, Ohio.
