BUCYRUS — Eleven defendants appeared in Crawford County Common Pleas Court via video to be arraigned on charges brought by the Grand Jury.

Wesley Jackson, 28, of Crestline was indicted on one count of tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony punishable with up to 36 months in prison, one count of possession of drugs (cocaine), a fifth-degree felony punishable with up to 12 months in prison and one count of trafficking in drugs, a fourth-degree felony punishable with up to 18 months in prison. Bond was set at $100,000 and attorney Grant Gaverick was appointed to represent him.

Kimberly Dauchenbaugh, 31, of Crestline was charged with one count of permitting drug abuse, a fifth-degree felony punishable with up to 12 months in prison. Assistant Prosecutor Ryan Hoovler informed Judge Sean Leuthold that Dauchenbaugh’s 11-month-old child tested positive to what is believed to be cocaine.

Leuthold had originally given Dauchenbaugh a personal recognizance bond but revoked it when informed of the additional pending charges. Bail was set at $100,000. Attorney Sebastian Berger was appointed to represent her.

Bruce Taylor, 31, of Galion was charged with three counts of possession of drugs, each a fifth-degree felony and each punishable with up to 12 months in prison. Bond was set at $50,000. Attorney Tom Nicholson was appointed to represent him.

Tyrell Crockett, 31, address unknown, was charged with receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony punishable with up to 18 months in prison. Bond was set at $25,000. Attorney Brian Gernert was appointed to represent him.

Jeffery Newsome, 58, of Crestline was charged with possession of drugs (sub Oxone), a fifth-degree felony punishable with up to 12 months in prison. Bond was set at $25,000. Attorney Grant Garverick was appointed to represent him.

Rena Kay Sirk, 48, of Galion was charged with identity fraud, a fifth-degree punishable with up to 12 months in prison. She was granted a personal recognizance bond. Attorney Brad Stark was appointed to represent her,

Robert Gallant, 42, of Bucyrus was charged with burglary, a second-degree felony punishable with up to eight years in prison and domestic violence, a third-degree punishable with up to 36 months in prison. Bond was set at $100,000 and Gallant is to have no contact with the victim. Attorney Andrew Motter was appointed to represent him.

Amy Daniels, 46, of Galion was charged with possession of drugs (methamphetamines), a fifth-degree felony punishable with up to 12 months in prison and drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor punishable with up to 90 days in jail. Bond was set at $50,000. Attorney Geoff Stoll was appointed to represent her.

Randall Battles, 25, of Tiro was charged with improper handling of a firearm, a fourth-degree felony punishable with up to 18 months in prison and a charge of having weapons under disability, a third-degree felony punishable with up to 36 months in prison. He retained attorney John Witt of Mansfield. Bond was set at $25,000.

Phillip Ealey, 26, of Lexington was charged with possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony punishable with up to 12 months in prison, drug paraphernalia a fourth-degree misdemeanor punishable with up to 90 days in jail and possession of marijuana, a minor misdemeanor punishable with a fine. Bond was set at $25,000. Attorney Geoff Stoll was appointed to represent him.

Brandy Belcher, 42, of Norwalk was charged with one count of assault, a fourth-degree felony punishable with up to 18 months in prison. Bond was set at $75,000. Attorney Joel Spitzer was appointed to represent her.
