Today is Election Day and this year’s General Election is somewhat unique in that there are no state or federal issues or offices to vote for, yet every registered voter in Crawford County has reason to go to the polls.
Voters in every incorporated city and village will have city offices on their ballots. Every school district will elect board of education members and every township will elect trustees and in one case another township officer.
There are several township tax issues on the ballot, a city income tax levy for Bucyrus voters, two school levies for Colonel Crawford district voters and one school levy for those in the Galion school district.
Polls open at 6:30 this morning and will close at 7:30 tonight. A list of all candidates and issues in the county can be found on the Election page at www.crawfordcountynow.com. Throughout the evening the Crawford County Now news team will have election updates on WQEL and online at www.crawfordcountynow.com and of course final results tomorrow.
