Columbus, OH – United Producers Inc. (UPI) announced today that Logan Edenfield will manage its Coordinated Feeder Services (CFS) program. Edenfield has worked for UPI for more than 18 years and was previously the Senior Regional Manager responsible for operations in southern Ohio.
In this new role, Edenfield will work with producers, UPI markets and feedlots to sell and procure feeder cattle. He will also coordinate UPI’s monthly Internet Feeder Cattle Sales, which are held on the second Friday of each month.
Through CFS, farmers selling cattle benefit from expanded opportunities to market cattle to a broader geographic region. Farmers purchasing cattle through CFS benefit from choosing from a more diverse volume of cattle.
“The CFS program provides more livestock marketing options for our members,” said Dennis Bolling, President and CEO, United Producers, Inc. “Through CFS, we have a program to get the cattle our members need when they need them and help them sell their cattle when they need to sell them. It continues our tradition of providing value to our members and evolving our services to meet the growing and changing needs of today’s farmer.”
