More than a handful of people felt the touch of the long arm of the law in Galion as that police department made eight arrests last week.
Galion resident Jeffery Caudillo, 50, was arrested at 12:28 a.m. on Friday in the 200 block of Portland Way and charged with theft.
Shannon Evans was arrested for drug abuse and an active warrant out of Morrow County at 7:37 p.m. on Sunday. Evans was arrested in the 700 block of Boyd Blvd. in Galion after a friend called reporting that Evans used heroin and passed out in the bathroom.
Troy Schuuring, 38, was arrested at his residence in the 600 block of Wiggs CT at 7:29 p.m. in Galion on Saturday. Schuuring was charged with domestic violence.
Rene Gianvito, 49, was arrested at his residence at 8:47 p.m. Saturday. Giavanto was charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication.
Steve Hunt was arrested outside of the Family Dollar on Portland Way South in Galion at 5:56 p.m. on Sunday. Hunt was charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication and was transported to jail.
Aaron Shafer, 27, of Galion was arrested on a failure to appear warrant out of the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office at 11:45 p.m. on Sunday in the 400 block of Libby Lane in Galion.
Adam Carroll was arrested on a felony warrant out of Arkansas by Galion City Police at 7:14 a.m. on July 23. Carroll was taken to the Crawford County jail to await extradition.
Rusty Stoll, 23, was arrested on unspecified charges. Stoll was taken into custody at 11:30 a.m. on July 21.
