The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and the Galion and Bucyrus police departments lent a hand to the Ohio Adult Parole Authority (APA) Thursday evening. The various branches of law enforcement assisted the Ohio APA with a home visit and search at 941 Kelly St. in Galion.
During the search Ohio APA officers seized suspected heroin, prescription drugs, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a handgun, and two rifles. Fifty-four-year-old Scott R. Plaster was charged with probation violation and was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center.
APA officers had been supervising Plaster for a felony drug offense conviction in 2014. He had been placed on probation in October. Plaster had also been convicted of failing to comply with the order of a police officer in 2009 and had been placed on a three-year probation sentence.
Detectives from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office will continue the investigation regarding the seized evidence.
