BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—A driving instructor has been charged with sexual battery following allegations involving a minor. Bruce Creasap, 71, was arraigned on Monday morning at the Crawford County Common Pleas Court. He faces a second-degree felony charge after being indicted by the Crawford County Grand Jury.

The allegations against Creasap state that he inappropriately touched a 16-year-old student, solicited the victim’s phone number, and even discussed plans to run away with her.

In response to these serious accusations, Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold set Creasap’s bond at $100,000.

Creasap is being represented by attorney Rocky Ratliff from Marion and is currently in custody at the Crawford County Jail. A preliminary pretrial hearing is expected to be scheduled soon.
