The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office has still not released the names of the two drivers involved in a crash at the intersection of Knauss and Bucyrus-Nevada roads on Thursday morning.

The vehicles, a multi-axle dump truck owned by Steve Spreng Trucking from Loudonville and a Chevrolet Equinox with Sandusky County plates, ended up off the road.

A witness to the accident indicated the Equinox was southbound on Knauss Road and ran the stop sign. The dump truck was headed east and collided with the passengers’ side of the Equinox.

A Sheriff’s deputy confirmed there were no passengers in either vehicle. Both drivers were transported by ambulance to Bucyrus Community Hospital.
