The driver of a van was injured and transported to Galion Community Hospital on Friday morning when her vehicle rolled over in a ditch on State Route 19. The call to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office regarding the accident came in at approximately 9:15.
The accident occurred west of the Seccaium Park site.
A Crawford County Sheriff’s Deputy said a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox was westbound when it van went out of control and ended up on its side in the north side ditch.
There were no passengers in the vehicle. The driver, 29-year-old Amber Jones of Bucyrus, was transported by LifeStar Ambulance to Galion Community Hospital. There was no word on the specific nature or seriousness of her injuries.
The Whetstone Volunteer Fire Department also responded to the accident scene. The Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation of the accident.
