The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office didn’t state what led to a one-vehicle crash on Nevada-Wynford Road on Monday morning. However, the accident did result in the driver being transported to the hospital for treatment.
According to the accident report, 49-year-old Clyde McCleese Jr. was traveling west shortly before 10 o’clock Monday morning when his Ford pick-up truck went out of control. McCleese’s truck went off the right side of the road into the ditch and overturned. The truck then hit a utility pole before coming to rest on its top at the intersection of Nevada-Wynford and Bethel roads.
McCleese was taken to Bucyrus Community Hospital by LifeSupport ambulance. The accident report did not indicate how seriously he was injured.
