NEWS RELEASE: Downtown Bucyrus retailer U Be Dazzled has decided to close its doors. At its Retirement Store Closing Sale the downtown retailer will begin selling off the entire inventory of its 1,200 square feet of store and stockroom. Everything will be reduced and sold before the store closes for good.
Owner, Sue Logsdon, has decided that now is the right time for her retirement. Sue said, “The store has been an integral part of my personal life since 2005 as well as the center of my professional career as a retail shop owner. My employees and loyal customers have been like family and close friends. I know that I’m going to miss it but now is the time to move forward with the next stage of my life. I want to thank our loyal customers for their support over these many years.”
Sue began her dream of having a retail boutique in 2005 by conducting U Be Dazzled Fundraisers for area Hospital Twigs and Volunteer Programs and giving back to those communities. Sue has been active in the Bucyrus Area Chamber of Commerce and served as President last year. She was instrumental in developing “First Friday Bucyrus” two years ago. Sue said, I’ll miss the involvement in the downtown community almost as much as I’ll miss the boutique and our wonderful customers.”
The Retirement Store Closing Sale will begin Thursday, September 14th at 10:00 am. The store will close Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday September 11th, 12th & 13th to prepare for the sale. Everything will be priced to liquidate. All merchandise, displays, store fixtures and equipment will be sold prior to the closing of the store.
To say thank you to the many loyal customers U Be Dazzled will have a “Customer Appreciation Drawing” giving away a Visa Gift Cards worth $200. You can enter each time you shop, but no purchase is necessary.
The store is located at 209 S. Sandusky Ave. in downtown Bucyrus.
Store hours are Monday thru Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
