BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Bucyrus Police Department announced the appointment of Captain Jon Dorsey as Bucyrus Police Chief.
Dorsey began his career with the department in August of 2002.
During his career he served as a School Resource Officer and was promoted to the position of Lieutenant in October of 2015. He has served as the night shift supervisor. Dorsey was recently promoted to Captain earlier this year.
The public is invited to attend Chief Dorsey’s Swearing in Ceremony Friday at 3pm in the Bucyrus City Council Chambers.
