CRESTLINE — Seven semi-finalists for the superintendent position at the Crestline Exempted Village School District have been named.

The candidate search process was under the control and direction of the Ohio School Boards Association.

The position became available after the resignation of former Crestline Superintendent Noreen Mullens in March. Mullens previously said, in September, she was going to finish her year and resign July 1 but announced the shortened timeframe at the district’s March board of education meeting.

The seven individuals who are scheduled to interview for the position are:

  • Benjamin Bethea – 7-12 Principal at Northmor LSD
  • Stephen Fowler – Principal at West Branch LSD
  • James Gunner – National Sales Executive at eSchool View and former Superintendent at Perkins LSD
  • Matthew Henderson – Director of Instruction and Assessment at Bucyrus City Schools
  • Jonathon Muro – Principal at Madison LSD
  • Timothy Myers – Superintendent at Van Buren LSD
  • Jeffrey Thompson – Superintendent at Mount Gilead EVSD

Interviews are scheduled for April 11 and 12. The schedule for the final round of interviews have not yet been released.
