MANSFIELD—During the regular meeting on March 23, 2022, The North Central State College Board of Trustees welcomed David J. Bush as its newest member. A resident of Bucyrus, he will represent Crawford County as a member of the NC State Board of Trustees. He will serve a three-year term.
His background includes both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Education from The Ohio State University. He has been an ardent supporter of Bucyrus, Crawford County and the Crawford Success Center, the NC State satellite facility located in Bucyrus.
He has served on numerous boards throughout the community and has been involved in fundraising and promotion for NC State and the NC State Foundation. David is credited with presenting the idea for the event that has become Arts for Success, an auction that has raised more than $100,000 for student scholarships to NC State for area graduates.
