The Ohio Department of Transportation currently has three road construction or road repair projects that are underway in Crawford County.
State Route 61/State Route 309
SR 61/SR 309 (Portland Way South) from Harding Way to Grove Avenue and SR 598 (Portland Way North) from Heise Park Lane to Harding Way in the City of Galion has intermittent single lane closures as crews finalize all remaining work as part of the rehabilitation and widening project. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained at all times. The project is expected to be complete by late May or early June 2015.
State Route 98
SR 98 is closed for the replacement of two culverts in Auburn Township. The first closure is at the intersection of SR 98 and Baker Road, which will also close Baker Road. The second location will be just south of SR 598, and that will close upon the reopening of the first culvert. The detour route for northbound motorists is SR 98 to State Route 39, east on SR 39 to State Route 598, north on SR 598 to SR 98, and reverse for southbound motorists. The road will reopen May 8, 2015.
Scott Road
Scott Road (Township Road 50), between State Route 103 and Lauden Road, is closed for a bridge replacement project. The detour route for eastbound motorists is Scott Road to SR 103, south on SR 103 to Kenestrick Road, east on Kenestric Road to Lauden Road, north on Lauden Road to Scott Road, and reverse for westbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen May 28, 2015.
