CRESTLINE — Emergency crews responded to two crashes in Crawford County on Wednesday morning.
The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash in rural Crestline in the 4000 block of Ohio 598 just before 8 a.m.
According to a CCSO deputy on scene, the incident was a single-vehicle crash involving a male driver. The deputy said the man is a diabetic and medical issues were believed to be a possible cause for the crash.
The man suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash.
The Tiro-Auburn Volunteer Fire Department and Portsmouth Emergency Ambulance Service assisted on the scene.
Crews, then, were called to Monnett Chapel Road between Shearer and Olentangy roads in rural Galion at approximately 8:15 a.m.

The crash in the 4000 block of the Monnett Chapel Road involved a juvenile female who lost control of her vehicle.
According to the CCSO deputy on scene, the girl was traveling eastbound when she came upon a westbound vehicle. While avoiding the other vehicle, the girl lost control of her vehicle on the ice-covered roadway and the vehicle traveled into the ditch facing westbound.
The girl reportedly did not suffer any injuries and was released from the scene to a parent.
The Whetstone Township Volunteer Fire Department and Portsmouth Emergency Ambulance Service also responded to the scene.
