The Crestline Village Council met in regular session on Monday and council members heard two issues – one for a first reading and the other for a second.

The issue limited to a first reading was a resolution to extend a lease agreement with the American Red Cross. The Red Cross has asked for a three-year extension on its lease at the Golden Age Center at $135 per month.

The issue up for a second reading was a repeal of the $50 ambulance refusal fee. The refusal fee was roundly criticized by both citizens and first responders when originally adopted and has yet to be implemented. Its repeal is expected to be passed by Village Council at the third reading.
