Members of the Crestline Village Council wanted nothing to do with a new trash hauling policy for the New Year when they met earlier this week.
An ordinance that would have changed the village’s policy on trash hauling failed to pass a third reading. The change would have meant higher permit fees and expanded the number of trash hauling permits issued by the village.
The Village Council also failed to pass a third reading of a resolution authorizing Fire Captain Doug Manring to supervise the Crestline Fire Department until a fire chief is hired.
