Monday was the final meeting of the year for the Crestline Village Council, but before it was over council members already had a lot on their plates for 2016.
Council members said they would consider a request from Harvest Festival Committee members Bev Payne and Dawn Manring to put profits from the Harvest Festival into a separate account. Currently those profits are placed into the village’s General Fund.
Among five pieces of legislation that were approved was a resolution supporting the Crawford Park District’s grant application that would be used to acquire 30 acres along the Sandusky River corridor west of Ohio 598 and be added onto Lowe-Volk Park.
Monday’s meeting was the final one for outgoing Mayor David Sharrock. Incoming Mayor Gloria McDonald will be sworn in this evening at the Village Hall.
