CRESTLINE—In a surprising turn of events, Crestline Village Administrator John Rostash submitted a letter of resignation to the Village Council on Monday and it was read by law director Rob Ratliff during the council’s regular meeting.
Rostash’s letter states that he is resigning due to personal reasons. On Tuesday morning, Rostash said that it was unexpected but necessary.
“Due to various personal reasons and for my health and well-being, I have to resign from the position. I wish nothing but the best for the Crestline community,” said Rostash.
Ratliff said a staff meeting is being held at noon on Tuesday to inform other employees of the resignation.
“We are conducting a search for a replacement for John’s position immediately,” said Ratliff.
He said anyone with experience in government-related management or business should submit their resume to the village as soon as possible.
