The Crestline United Methodist Church offers a monthly Healing Service, the second Sunday of the month, 5pm. The next Healing Service is December 11.
Anyone who is seeking healing, wholeness and health in their relationships, emotions, spiritual life, or body is welcome to attend this service. Perhaps you would like healing for a family member or friend, and that is also a reason to attend this service. We believe that God loves us and wants all people to be healthy and happy.
When Jesus sent his disciples out two by two in Luke 9:1-2, he commanded them to heal in his name. In James 5, the author says, “If any of you are suffering, they should pray…Prayer that comes from faith will heal the sick, for the Lord will restore them to health. And if they sinned, they will be forgiven. For this reason, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed”.
The Second Sunday Healing Service is an opportunity for us to be strengthened and refreshed by Christ’s healing presence!
