Following several debates at previous meetings, the Crestline Village Council voted to raise trash collection fees to village residents at Monday’s meeting.
The measure to raise rates to $22 per month passed by a 4-2 vote with Allen Moore and Tina Swartz dissenting.
Council members also unanimously approved naming Christi Knauber as the village’s fiscal officer. Knauber has been deputy fiscal officer since 2014 and has been employed by the village since 2005. She will be paid $19.02 per hour in her new position.
