CRESTLINE―A Crestline teacher is under investigation for sexual battery.
In a press release on Friday afternoon, Crestline Police Chief Jeff Shook said the investigation was initiated on March 1 after a complaint was filed with his department.
Shook said that evidence was seized and interviews were conducted by his officers. Evidence is currently being processed by the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.
“We are waiting on that report to be completed. All interviews and paperwork are in the hands of the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office for review,” said Shook.
Shook said the case and investigation are ongoing and more information will be made available at the appropriate time.
