CRESTLINE—The Crestline Municipal Swimming Pool is closed until further notice due to a person being in attendance at the pool on Friday, July 17 who tested positive for COVID-19 on July 6.

According to a press release from Crestline Police Chief Jeff Shook on Friday evening, upon the discovery of the situation, the pool was immediately shut down and will remain closed until further notice.

“We will be working with the Crestline Village Administration, Crawford County Health District, the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office and Crestline Village attorneys to follow up on this matter,” said Shook in the release.

People who have visited the pool should monitor themselves for COIVD-19 symptoms, such as fever or cough, and are encouraged to contact their health provider.
