Crestline Superintendent Noreen Mullens is working under a two-year stayed suspension of her superintendent’s license, the result of a consent agreement with the Ohio Department of Education.
Under the heading, Conviction(s) or Conduct Unbecoming, the six-page documents states, “On or about the 2014-2015 school year, Respondent directed principals to submit scores for the student growth measures on the Ohio Teacher Evaluation System evaluations for teachers that were evaluated using local measures without a data derived basis for using these scores.”
Following Monday night’s school board meeting, Mullens said a district employee had reported to the Ohio Department of Education that the district was falsifying data. That resulted in an investigation, the superintendent said, and “They didn’t really find anything.”
