Although 10 contractors still need to be paid, Crestline school district Treasurer Bradd Stevens says the end is in sight.
Stevens addressed the board at a meeting last week and said that current figures indicate the entire project is more than $270,000 under budget. The board approved five change orders at last week’s meeting.
On a less positive note, Stevens noted for the board that January revenues were short of expenditures. Stevens said the district’s revenues are decreasing at the same time expenses are increasing.
