The Crestline Exempted Village School Board will seek voter support for an 11-mill levy this fall.

Tonya Boyd, the district treasurer, presented information to the board during its Monday meeting about the need for an emergency renewal levy. Boyd said the county auditor certified that an 11-mill levy would be enough to provide the needed funding.

The board then approved the levy language, which will now be submitted to the Crawford County Board of Elections to go before voters on Nov. 7.

In other business, Julie Murphy-Theodore was welcomed and approved by the board as the new elementary school principal.

The board also approved a resolution to solicit bids for the construction of a new restroom/concession building. Bids will be accepted starting next week.
