With the new school year quickly approaching, the Crestline school board filled a pair of administrative vacancies at its regular meeting Monday.
Noreen Mullins was approved and hired as the new superintendent for the district while Kevin Wheeler was hired as the K-8 principal.
Mullins was given a three-year contract at an annual salary of $86,000. Mullins will go on the staff as assistant superintendent to outgoing Dave Heflinger and then assume full duties as of Aug. 1.
Wheeler’s contract is for two years with a salary of $71,000.
The demolition of the old high school is behind schedule because of inclement weather. The old administration building will come down next followed by the south school.
More on Monday’s board meeting is available in the latest edition of the Crestline Advocate.
