Columbus- On February 22, Ohio EPA officials announced funding of mosquito control grants to help mitigate the spread of mosquito-borne viruses such as Zika, West Nile and La Crosse Encephalitis.

In Crawford County only Crestline received a grant in this round of funding. The amount is $11,300.

In Crestline’s case the money will be used for adult mosquito control, primarily spraying the mosquito surveillance.
