CRESTLINE, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Crestline Public Library is set to host a series of engaging programs throughout July, offering creative and educational opportunities for children and adults alike. From glowing paint to inspiring art projects, there’s something for everyone..
The Children’s Program, “Color Our World,” continues in July with a “Glow in the Dark” paint program scheduled for Thursday, July 10, at 4 p.m. Young participants can anticipate a unique and vibrant artistic experience. Following this, on Monday, July 14, at 4 p.m., kids are invited to build with LEGOs.
Adults can hone their artistic skills with a special art project led by local artist Mo Taylor on Tuesday, July 15, at 3 p.m. Under Taylor’s guidance, participants will create a painting inspired by the distinctive style of Alma Woodsey Thomas, a renowned 20th-century American painter known for her vibrant, abstract works. Registration is required for this adult program and is limited to 12 participants. A $25 cash fee for all materials is due at the time of sign-up.
Finally, “Free Tie Dye fun for all ages” will take place on Wednesday, July 16, at 1 p.m. Participants should bring a clean, white T-shirt; all other supplies will be provided. Sign-up is necessary for this event, with 12 spaces available. Interested individuals can call the library or stop in to register.
