CRESTLINE, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—A man was arrested after a standoff with law enforcement that began on Tuesday evening, September 16, 2025.
At approximately 5:52 p.m., the Crestline Police Department received a call about an intoxicated man, later identified as Michael Tesso, threatening to harm himself and another person at a residence on 905 W. Main St.
Upon arrival, officers learned that Tesso was armed with a weapon and refusing to exit the home. The Crawford County Special Response Team was called to the scene to assist.
A search warrant was served, and Tesso was taken into custody without further incident. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center and is being held there pending formal charges.
The Crestline Police Department will be submitting its reports to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
