It may have taken a month and a half, but Crestline police arrested a man for an alleged purse-snatching incident.
The Crestline Police Department asked for the public’s help after a woman was robbed of her purse while at Rite Aid on West Main Street on Feb. 1. The victim, an elderly woman, was not injured in the incident.
With only a short description available, the public pulled through.
Crestline Police Chief Joe Butler reported at a Feb. 20 Crestline Village Council meeting that a suspect had been identified as the possible purse-snatching perpetrator. The man, Kyle Allen Stillner, was recently taken into custody by Crestline police.
