The Crestline Public Library is holding a scavenger hunt contest in conjunction with the summer reading program “Build a Better World”. The contest runs from July 1-31, and requires participants to visit the library and pick up a contest form and rules. Participants must correctly identify numerous buildings and architectural designs around Crestline. A winner will be drawn from all the correct contest forms and will receive a prize.

July 3-24, children may participate in a “house building” contest. Kids will pick up a template for their house, cut them out, decorate it, and assemble their house. A winner will be chosen from the assembled houses.

July 6 at 6pm is Family Game Night. Bring the whole family and participate in an old-fashioned fun game night!

July 10 at 6 p.m. Kris Eckert from the Crestline Historical Society will present a program about the historical homes of Crestline.

Do you need to remodel? Add on to your home? Decide if it’s worth the cost? July 11 at 6 p.m., local contractor Allen Laferty will discuss the pros and cons of home remodeling, plus the process.

July 17 at 6 p.m. is Family Dance Night. Come and boogie the night away to the sounds of the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and up under the direction of DJ Justin Carroll.

July 20 at 6 p.m. teens can win books while playing Bingo for Books!
