CRESTLINE—The Crestline Harvest Festival committee said they have received a lot of good feedback from festivalgoers this year. Many people mentioned the nice weather, new and more rides for older children, new contests, longer parade, large car and motorcycle show, fun bands, full craft show, and an abundance of shaded outdoor seating.
After the state shutdown festivals in 2020, the committee put in the work to grow the festival for 2021 and plans are to continue to add to the festival experience and keep growing.
“We are always looking for ways to increase festival fun and offerings,” said Clayton Herold, festival director. “Our committee is eager to keep growing the festival. To do that, we are increasing our fundraising goal to help us meet the rising costs associated with putting on the festival. We’re also looking into expanding our entertainment options. With community support, we hope to continue making our festival a great experience and bringing more people to the area to show all that Crestline and Crawford County have to offer.”
Thanks to the support of the Crestline community, sponsors, festival committee, village administration, the police and fire departments, as well as the street and water departments, the festival was a big success this year.
“Crestline is a fun town,” said Courtney Moody, committee media relations director. “Committee members have already discussed new experiences we want to add for next year’s festival. With continued support, we’ll keep growing the festival and adding more family fun.”
